Dark, saturated color and intense aromatics telegraph that this is a substantial wine. Aromas brimming with Marionberries, black raspberries, ripe plum and an elusive chocolaty framboise like high note set the palate up for a cascade of flavors. The tannins are surprisingly soft and racy acidity keeps the wine tightly wrapped.

The nose presents intense aromas of pomegranate, clove, anise, and leather. Mineral elements and bright, red berry flavors intertwine on the palate, which finishes with a prolonged, spicy ripe berry finish.
